Finance & Admin apprentice
Apprentices carry out a range of practical accounting tasks, working towards the collation, checking and analysis of financial information, which is then utilized by accountants. Typical responsibilities include:
- Administering payrolls
- liaising with managerial staff, colleagues and clients
- Arranging payments for invoices
- Undertaking financial administration
- Monitoring financial transactions
- Bookkeeping
- Preparing accounts, reports, budgets, commentaries and financial statements
- Process all payment information to ensure timely payments to employees
- Run weekly & monthly payrolls
- Preparation of relevant reports
- Maintain electronic payslip system
- Maintaining payroll records for benefits & pension purposes and administering changes where necessary
- Dealing with general pay and tax queries
- Posting customer invoices, supplier invoices, receipts and payments via excel
- Delivering consultation services to clients
- General administrative duties
Technical Attributes

Qualifications / Licences / Education
- 3 A Levels or equivalent.
